Key responsibilities include:

• Surface Preparation: Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching holes, filling cracks, and removing old paint or coatings.
• Paint Application: Applying paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray guns to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Mixing Paint: Mixing paints to achieve the desired color and consistency, including using primers and sealers as needed.
• Detail Work: Ensuring clean lines and precise finishes, especially when working on trim, molding, and edges.
• Surface Protection: Using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic to protect areas not to be painted.
• Inspection and Touch-Ups: Inspecting completed work for any imperfections and performing touch-ups as necessary.
• Cleaning Tools and Work Areas: Cleaning brushes, rollers, and other tools after use and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Safety Compliance: Following all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous materials like paint fumes or solvents safely.
